Back in 2012, Anthony Delaney found himself captivated by the world of fine Caribbean rums. Eager to inject fresh energy into the premium spirits scene, he envisioned a venture that combined exceptional craftsmanship with a commitment to sustainability. This spark of enthusiasm led to the creation of Solar Reserve Rum Co., a brand dedicated to showcasing outstanding Caribbean Island rum while respecting our planet and sharing fun times with friends.

The name "Solar Reserve" embodies this vision—merging the brilliance of the sun, symbolising sustainability, with the reserved elegance of aged, high-quality rum. SR55 Jamaican-Dominican Blend (43% ABV)

Aged Dominican Republic rums from Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos (AFD), distilled in pot and column stills using both molasses and cane juice, form the backbone of the blend.  These add a wonderful smoothness, subtle fruit, and caramel notes.  It’s ably supported by an aged Jamaican rum distilled in pot stills from molasses from a rather famous distillery (deservedly so) in Lluidas Vale, Jamaica.  This element of the blend adds weight, tropical fruit notes, and glorious hint of that funk for which Jamaica is so highly regarded.

​8 Dominican Single-Origin Rum (46% ABV)

Solar Reserve 8-Year-Old is made from cane juice in column stills and sourced from Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos (AFD). Aged 8 years at origin in once used ex-bourbon barrels, this rum brings forward deep notes of toffee, coconut, hazelnut, and spiced baked apple, finished with a smooth vanilla cream.
