Tasting Notes

Featuring natural caramel, toffee, and warm vanilla notes, with tropical fruit, a smooth character reminiscent of aged cachaça, a hint of signature Jamaican fresh grassy funk, light spice, mellow oak and lingering tropical notes.

This blend is enhanced by adding one tenth of Solar Reserve 8, our Single Origin 8 year old Dominican Republic rum, enriching its complexity and depth.

We source our rum from award-winning distilleries in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic - both known for heritage, quality, and sustainable practices. When then ship it to Scotland and bottle it with famous Whisky bottlers in Glasgow.

It means the rum is matured in its country of origin, where the warm climate accelerates ageing and enhances flavour depth.

Do you add sugar, colouring, or additives?

Never. Our rum is pure - no added sugar, no caramel colouring, no flavourings. Just honest, well-made rum.

A Single-Origin 8-Year-Old Dominican Republic Rum made from fresh cane juice using column stills, aged 8 years at origin with full tropical maturation in once-used ex-bourbon American oak barrels.

This rum brings forward deep notes of sweet mango, toffee, caramel, coconut, hazelnut, and delicate baking spices, finished with a velvety touch of vanilla cream.
