We work with producers who take care of the people and the land they distill from.

In the Dominican Republic, our partner Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos runs on 100% renewable energy, using biomass from sugarcane and solar power.

In Lluidas Vale, Jamaica, our rum is distilled in copper pot stills using a closed-loop system that reuses waste for fuel.

Where is your rum made?

We source our rum from award-winning distilleries in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic — both known for heritage, quality, and sustainable practices. When then ship it to Scotland and bottle it with famous Whisky bottlers in Glasgow.

What does “tropically aged” mean?

It means the rum is matured in its country of origin, where the warm climate accelerates ageing and enhances flavour depth.

Do you add sugar, colouring, or additives?

Never. Our rum is pure — no added sugar, no caramel colouring, no flavourings. Just honest, well-made rum.

What makes Solar Reserve Rum sustainable?

We work with environmentally conscious distilleries, bottle in lightweight glass (33% less), use recycled cane paper labels, and partner only with producers that share our commitment to reducing waste and emissions.

What's the difference between SR55 and SR8?

SR55 is our signature blend — bold, versatile, and great in cocktails. SR8 is a single origin 8-year-old Dominican rum, smooth and complex, perfect for sipping neat or in elevated classics.
